I took them off to simplify maintenance. They do need to be retightened over time which requires removing them. My Yukon is stock so I went back to stock. They are great if you can use the adjustments.
Spohn rear control arms and track bar. Fully adjustable if you lift or lower and want to set your pinion angle. 40k miles on them. Good shape. Includes grade 8 hardware and adjustment/rebuild tool for the joints. I went back to factory for simplicity. Spohn's require some maintenance and...
Every time I have replaced my rear shocks the sensors get knocked loose. They are directly on top of the frame rail above the shock mount. You just need to reach up and squeeze the connector back together. You have to be a bit of a contortionist.
Did some research on this site: https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/sound-from-cd-player-when-not-on.68469/
Seems the NAV DVD is running and it is behind the face of the head unit, some transformers level stuff:
Post 100! Hopefully this helps.
Looking forward to responses, I have the same sounds it seems, like the CD player is tracking anytime I open a door. Never had a battery issue, but don't want one either!
Replaced my EVAP canister (under the spare tire) on Monday, cleared the code. Went for the cheap connector, surprise, it did not fit the factory plug. On its way back to Amazon and the correct adapter on its way. Was still able to plug in (pins match, housing doesn't), cleared the code and it...
With all of that tire you should consider the 14 bolt rear axle swap (if you don't have it already) there is a stamp of AXN, or just count the bolts on the diff cover. This will give you the stout you will need in the sand. Put an electric locker in that and you will have a lot less chance of...
What year rims did you put on your Yukon? 2004-2018 trucks used 315mhz sensors, 2020-current use 433mhz, 2019 used both it seems. One wont read the other typically.
Another one on my to-do list. Looking forward to know what your oil pressure is after the fix.
I will also +1 testing your oil pressure mechanically. When my sensor went out it did funky stuff for about 3 months before totally failing.
I put 1" spacers with my factory air shocks, no issues in 2 year/25k miles. I did extend the ride height sensor a bit, but likely did not need to as the change in the angle of the trailing arm at the sensor rod with the 1" spacer was minimal.
Those are solid, may need to call him! I have all kinds of clunks on my Spohns after two years. Started off tight and nice, over the last 6 months most gained movement.
