My vehicle qualifies for this, when I open up my GMC app and look at recalls it lists a 15-year 150,000-mile warranty for this issue. You probably will have to go through the software step first, but I have no worries about this being covered when and if the valve needs to be replaced.
My OEM once went a good three plus years, and they really still didn't need replacing. I ended up getting a new set of the best Trico ones I could get. Very happy with those.
This had been discussed at length on Duramaxforum.com Jump over there and you can get the latest information on it....

We use REC-90 gas in FL for generators. No alcohol in it. With some Marine STA-BIL it can easily go 2 years in a generator. When 2 yrs are up? Dump it thru your car or mowers with no ill effect and repeat. When a big one comes into the gulf, I go get 25 gal and we are good for a week +. If not...
If you want them to last a long time, the best way to do it is to take the stock parts to a highly reputable body shop. Have them prep and paint them. They will hold up a good long time.. All my front-end pieces were removed, individually prepped, and then coated with an automotive finish. Four...
It won't help it... but it won't hurt it either... Just take it for a good romp after power comes back and all will be well....
I've stopped worrying about what will "hurt" my vehicle. It's here to serve me in whatever way I need it.....
I think 22's are the happy medium for this vehicle. I live in the Midwest, and we have tough roads and 22's have been fine. Haven't had any rim damage yet and we've hit some pretty big holes. The big thing about 20's and 22's is there are lots of tire choices. When you get to 24'S just very few...
Yes, I am going to probably order a 25 ultimate Dmax for other reasons. But I don't hate this screen.. It looks fine to me and I'm sure it will be a reasonable improvement over what I have. The whole thing is pretty overpriced. But when you're getting up there, you ain't going to live forever...
This right here is the key to life.... I handwash every one of my vehicles every 1-2 weeks. They have never seen a carwash. Makes a huge difference in how wraps last and the overall finish in general. The bigger your vehicle is.. the harder the brushes are on them.
If you "Order" these, do they come installed from the factory or does the dealer have to install these?
Also, are they freely available or is this constantly a late availability or out of stock Item?
Yep, Mine lost the C light at about 25K miles. Black ones are hard to find and had to wait for a few weeks till one was found. 2nd one is hanging in there so far at 34k.
I'd rather be in the bigger vehicle with more protection.. not to mention the fact it's much more comfortable to drive... Most of the time they take pretty good care of the roads anyways unless it's a really big snow, it's mostly going to be dry or wet and salty. These bigger vehicles are built...
Ha Ha Thats right.... Not a single one of those "issues" pop up on here or anywhere else nearly to the extent of 5.3 and 6.2 issues. I don't think I've read on ANY forum about 3.0 engines being replaced more than once or twice. So far uses no oil, gets great mileage and not a whimper out of it....
I'm wondering whether with a deposit, if you could negotiate a price right now. it might be advantageous as the climate may change in the spring and things could be more expensive..Especially on LZ0
If you have OEM Alenza's they are absolutely the worst tire in any weather that is serious. Get dedicated winter tires as a minimum.
I am thinking about shying away from 24's as there is no good replacement tires out there in this size, if I order a 25. 22's have served me well.
As a question, how close can you build a regular Denali to an Ultimate? I really only want power boards, Air ride, And black wheels and trim. Don't want/need RSE or 24's necessarily. 22" have been fine and tons more tire options. I won't even bring the Aleza's home.... No good 24's available...
I don't see how that could possibly happen as big as these seats are and the fact that you can push them back on the tracks quite a ways. We have two newborn grandchildren due in the next eight weeks and I'm sure we'll be figuring this out pretty quickly.
None of the above is a valid reason for the 1st or 2nd engine to fail....Period. The 1st engine was well within service requirements and certainly not "Way overdue for service".
An oil analysis would have probably revealed the oil was well within parameters before the engine grenaded. No amount...
I agree.... I've short tripped mine weeks on end and I've drove it 1000 miles in a day. Either way, it doesn't care. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again regardless of driving circumstances.....
