For sure the sludge was caused by the 20k mile oil filter changes. Wow! I bet if you cut one of those open after 20k miles it would be packed with crap and sludge. No good man.
Common sense says no matter what a filter says it will have the old oil and crap lodged in it just contaminating...

I’d take it in. That doesn’t sound like valve train noise as it’s frequency is to low. Atleast document that you brought it in in case something fails or gets worse later.
It’s just clear coat failure. Could be from bad prep or just environmental conditions.
I doubt it’s calcium, but if you think so go look at a product called CLR. That’s for bathrooms but I’d look into it to see if it can be used on wheels either straight or diluted.
You changing with synthetic oil every 5k?? Clean oil is paramount to keep these engines running well with AFM. I have 160k miles on my 2015 and no issues with AFM.
