    Can one assume that being independently balanced that when installing orientation/alignment is a non-issue. Just remove the old and install the new without worrying about the new driveshaft being off ?

    Have a 99 K1500 4WD since it was new. Put in a new factory motor, rebuilt transmission and transfer case at 240k and now at 350k pretty much all highway miles and hauling kids around from football team I coached for 7 years. Picked up a 99 Tahoe 4WD awhile back and have been fixing issues...
