I had a similar issue. It was from excessive idling and starting and stopping short distances. Smell the oil to see if it smells like gas. Changed O2 sensors to be safe and it went away. Just don’t idle long
Smell your oil, does it smell like gas? If so, your engine doesn’t like idling very long. I replaced O2’s, plugs/wires, MAF and PCV’s and problem went away.
I would replace with the assembled strut if your doing it yourself. I replaced mine myself and it was fairly smooth with the right tools and plenty of pre watched YouTube vids. Replace the sway bar bushings while you’re at it.
Does it happen only over bumps? I had this same issue and found the fix on this forum. There is a ground on the driver side corner dash at the bottom on the windshield that needs the foam cut away from the connection.
Check all the bolts in the engine area. I had a similar issue that sounded like it was coming from the dash but it was actually a loose bolt on the cross bar support near the battery. Also check all the battery bolts.
I just went through this same issue on my 2015. Replaced the MAF, and both PCV hoses and cleaned the throttle plate. Once relearn was done it runs perfectly again. Took couple days for relearn after I unhooked battery and cleaned the throttle plate. Original code was 0172 and I replaced all 4...
I bought Hikari LED’s for a 2015 Tahoe and after the switch I noticed the day time running led strip no longer comes on, only the headlights now. Anyone else have that issue?
