Nah, nothing to see except that I replaced the cheesy woodgrain inserts with the brushed versions. It's a driver.

4/4.5 on a 07 up tahoe pics inside

This is my truck. I’ve been mostly lurking on this site for the past 6 months or so and decided it’s probably time for an introduction. At the time I originally lowered my 2007 Tahoe in the autumn of 2006, there was only one set of parts available, so that’s what I used. The truck only...

    Lowering a Hybrid

Okay, I think I see what you're saying. Is it your position that the alignment should be modified outside of stock specs to accommodate this phenomenon? I maintain it's better to align on wheels you don't care about. Unless you know the tech and how carefully they go about their work, the 20...

Installed McGaughy's 2/3 and have issues

No codes here, either. My hunch is that suspension geometry has changed enough that the inside wheel really is experiencing more scrub/slip. What I don't understand is why, in my case at least, it only seems to occur on hard left turns when at or near lock.

    Lowering a Hybrid

If I were in Soulsea's shoes (and I was yesterday), I'd prefer the alignment tech hang the equipment on something other than my nice wheels. He has what appear to be very nice 24s; it'd be a shame if they were to get accidentally marred. I'm not saying it will happen, but the possibility is...

If I were you, I'd put the stockers back on for the alignment anyway. Why tempt fate?

Don't be so quick to give up on it. Modifying vehicles is rarely as straightforward as it seems. The process suggested to you is not as haphazard as it may seem. You have to be willing to experiment a bit to get desired results. Your truck looks fantastic. You're so close to having what you want...

    Lowering a Hybrid

No reason to do this. The bracket isn't structurally integral to the frame.

Installed McGaughy's 2/3 and have issues

Did you get this sorted? I had same issue when I installed the McGaughy's 4/5 kit in fall of 2006. I never did find the reason and just learned to live with it. It mostly occurred while exiting parking structures with a spiral ramp. Never a problem with the ABS functioning properly under normal...

    Lowering a Hybrid

With that ride height (but not knowing your tire height), I bet the crappy ride is due to the rear bumpstops, as in they need to go away. Actually, that's not quite true. You should cut the entire bracket off the frame rails as shown elsewhere on this forum. I understand that you aren't doing...
