    Curb Rash Black Wheels

Gloss black nail polish is more "permanent" and won't come off so easily in most atmospheric conditions.

    GM/Brembo Performance brakes - thoughts + pics

I'd say around 50k miles on the Brembos, easily. I currently have over 58k on the vehicle now, and I didn't get the Brembos installed immediately. They weren't installed for another 7 months after I bought the vehicle.

Got any picks? ...And a link to getting those $300+ pads.

    GM/Brembo Performance brakes - thoughts + pics

I've been rocking RBP tires, which have a very soft compound. Although they're inexpensive, they're not the cheap plastic-like tires some inexpensive brands push out on the market. I don't think those Tahoe PPV's have 8-pot brakes, but they certainly have skinnier tires which wouldn't do much...

    GM/Brembo Performance brakes - thoughts + pics

Not many... 6 months, if that. I was researching aftermarket items a year before I got the AT4 and already had an idea of what I wanted to get. Mine didn't come with the Brembo package from GMC, but I knew I wanted bigger brakes. The GMC Brembo rotors looked a bit small behind the stock wheels...

    GM/Brembo Performance brakes - thoughts + pics

I had Brembo color match them before they shipped them. But, now they have a few nicks because of the idiotic installers. It's not too noticeable but they're not perfect anymore. I should have just had them plated in copper or bronze, but I was going for a subdued look at the time.

    GM/Brembo Performance brakes - thoughts + pics

I've had my brakes for a while now, going on 3 years, and they've been fantastic. It's getting to be around that time where I need to shop for replacement pads, but I'm discovering that it's not all that easy. You'd think that Brembo parts would be pretty easy to acquire, but no. I've had to...

    2023 Yukon AT4 Lift Kits

I chose the 3 inch Ready Lift kit. I wanted parking structure clearance, so that's the route I chose. With my 24's on 35's, I top out at 6'6"... And yes, I easily clear parking garages.

*Pics* AT4 skid plate wrapped in Gloss Black

When I upgraded my brakes, I kind of wish I would have had them copper, nickel or gold plated, instead of just color matching them with the Redwood Metallic. Seeing all the modifications you've been doing to your AT4 over the recent years, I feel like I could have plated the front tow hooks...

    2023 Z71 Tahoe Stock 26x12????

I'm running 24x14's, not 26's. I wanted 26's but I didn't want to change my ride height by much. And I don't have the air ride suspension, just the mag suspension with a 3" Ready Lift kit. At my current setup, I top out at 6'6"... enough to clear most parking structures.

    2023 Z71 Tahoe Stock 26x12????

Here are 2 examples of newer Tahoes on 26x12. I'm sure there's some minor cutting involved, but not much. Or, just get a lower profile tire.

Software update that must be performed at a dealership

Speaking of software, my lock mechanism is working out of character. It still locks the vehicle automatically 10 seconds after I've left, but anything having to do with me opening the vehicle with my key fob on my person is a no starter. No popping either part of the liftgate or pushing the door...

    Curb Rash Black Wheels

Curb heights vary, so there's no safe sidewall height regardless. The only thing that might save grace is having a wide tire on a narrow rim. At least the curb will hit the tire before the rim. But even then, you run the risk of blowing out the tire... either way, you can't win.

    Curb Rash Black Wheels

Gloss black nail polish seems to do the job for me every time. But that's because I'm very cautious about curb rash, and tend to make wider right turns.

    Talk to me about Rims...

I would like to respectfully disagree with you on the worsening of the ride quality as you increase your rim diameter. That depends on a number of factors, including suspension quality, the quality of the tire rubber, and how well public roads are maintained. I have a cranky wife and 3...

How wide of a wheel can I fit on my Yukon?

Thanks for the mention @jgraves ... As for the OP, 11" really isn't that wide of a wheel. But that all depends on the positive or negative offset and the desired look you're trying to achieve. I was going for a similar look to most modern lifted trucks with large diameter wide wheels and low...

    lifted,leveled or lowered?

I never wanted my AT4 to be that much higher. That's the main reason why I went with a 3" lift, and fender trim. After a certain point, it becomes inconvenient to do normal things like parking in structures, and clearing those ceiling limiters. The other day, I went to the Beverly Center (mall)...

    Taking off pinstripes?

I did. Once I removed the adhesive, I spent another hour polishing that plate until the minor swirl marks were gone and the discoloration was at a minimal. The color variation was very minor and in direct sunlight, so it wasn't all that bad.

    Taking off pinstripes?

No offense to you, but who does pin striping anymore? That's like adding chrome wheels, fuzzy dice, a neon undercarriage, spinner wheels, a low rider suspension, and fake big brakes... In all seriousness though, I wouldn't imagine that it would disturb the pain, but then again, when I removed...

2023 yukon denali 6.2..what to do

I would beg to differ. Adding simple and non-invasive bolt on performance parts is a safer way to add a little more extra horsepower. Once you start messing with the ECU, tuning, and engine internals, your reliability is a coin toss. And then there's the resale value if the owner wants to sell...

Yukon AT4 Video: Sport Pedal Unboxing and DIY Install

Mine were a part of the "dealer add-ons", so I've had mine on since day one. It also had a center console safe, which has come in handy over the years.

    Larger gas tank

The most miles I've gotten with my current wheel and tire setup, and a full tank of gas was a range of up to 386 miles. As it stands, I have about 57k miles on my AT4.

    Larger gas tank

And it's reasons like this why I carry a medical urinal in my side door pocket. I've had it there since I bought the vehicle back in 21 (2022YM), and used it several times when I'm nowhere near a public restroom. It definitely comes in handy.

    Need New TPMS Sensors

I had an issue with my TPMS sensors earlier this year, and the dealer taught me how to reprogram them. It's really simple. Just dial in the tire pressure screen on your dash and depress the little steering wheel navigating wheel for 4 seconds. You should hear a chime, and your TPMS sensors...

6 inch lift with 35s finally got installed

I wanted that setup so badly when I first got my Yukon. I originally wanted to go with 26x14 KG1's or JTX's, but because my Yukon was so new, there wasn't a lot of lift kits out there just yet, and KG's and JTX's 22' designs were having international shipping issues because globally, we were...
