    Here is my wrench attached to the socket on the sensor. I had better luck with two 3" extensions than the 6". I was able to put socket, swivel, and one extension on the sensor and then connect the other extension and ratchet. Its tight!!

    Here are the hoses that I removed/unhooked so I could get my hand back there. 2 of the hoses had locks on the ends and on the other I had to use pliers to pull back the clamp.

    Just wanted to give an update and tell everyone thanks for the help!! Finally got a day off and changed out the oil pressure switch/sensor. Got the sensor from NAPA here in town, cost just under 60 bones!! Picked up the oil pressure switch socket also...that was somewhere around 15 bucks. And...

    Ok pulled the code and got.... P0521 Engine oil pressure sensor/switch range/performance I'm hoping this means I need to replace the sensor? Any special tools I may need?

    Ok...2010 chevy tahoe 5.3l here... So, my wife calls me and the check engine light has come on the dash, with the oil pressure gauge maxed out (Around 80psi) with tahoe running. Gauge goes back to 0 psi with engine off. And with the key on, not running, the gauge reads around 60psi. What do...
