Hi all! New to forum, and first-time owner of a PPV. Picked up a well-kept 2021 PPV from Chicago Motors - 32k miles, very little wear - heck, the plastic on the infotainment unit was still attached!

Looking to do some mods, including adding black TAHOE lettering to doors and tailgate but can't find any references for location (and other forums haven't been answered). May end up finding a 2021+ and measuring from a reference point on each location but curious if anyone here knows the specs, if done already.

Also have questions about rear windows (switches are active, fuse is good) and door locks - have also searched forums but haven't seen anything definitive to resolve these issues either.

Thanks for having me - looking forward to learning, and eventually contributing as I figure things out!

Welcome to the forum from Virginia. You’re probably on to something measuring another Tahoe. The PPV guys will join in to help with your other questions.

The window switches are modified to be inactive. If you want your windows working you’ll have to buy new ones.

As far as emblems, I always google images of whatever emblems, make a 90 degree painters tape line and apply.

Hope that helps

I changed my badging to black. The interesting thing I found was other than the general are where it goes, factory installed, from left side to right, there was allot of difference in placement. Point being, other than the general area do what is aesthetically balanced.

Thanks all. I replaced the window switches a few weeks ago - no change to the operability of the rear windows or disengaging the driver door window lock switch. Other forums suggest it’s a programming item.

Interesting info about the inconsistency in placement. Tomorrow being Sunday, I’m going to head to the Chevy dealership down the street to get some measurements. Will report back what I find - I see this question a lot and would like to help others with info that satisfies my question.

Good. I searched for a long time trying to find it for you. All that ever happened was me coming back to your thread. The stuff on GM’s website is a joke.
