    Electric/Battery Problem??

    My daughter had the same problem with her Envoy. Had to replace the ignition switch. The next time it happens, lift up on the key as you rotate it. May help, may not, but it did for her till it was replaced.

    Break in Period?

    Bought my 07 new from a dealer 2.5 hrs from my home. He said to just drive it normally but don't hold it for horus at one speed on the interstate for a few hundred miles. He said to expect the 6.2 to use oil for the first 1000 miles, but mine never did.

    Haven't a clue as to what was replaced, but so far it is working. Had criuse on last night 2 times for 30 min each and it stayed on and the raido controls are working normally. Made no difference with mine if the volt gauage was at its low highway cruise reading or the higher 14+ reading. So...

    A different tech checked out my Denali yesterday and THINKS the problem is in a connector. Return tomorrow to replace it. While there they offered me $28,900 to trade...........a new one isn't any different than mine, but it is an interesting thought. A 20 hr trip to FL soon will checkout...

    Can't be the failure of 9 out of 12 switches at the same time or thier operation of untended functions. (Volume changes stations for example) It has to be beyond the switches themselves.

    Back to the dealer tomorrow. Of course everything was working today when I drove it in to make the apt. Any other ideas?? They never heard of a problem like this. We have several long trips planned and the cruise will be needed.
