    Yea, I ended up texting him right after I posted this and got the answer. I found some stock Tahoe keys on eBay for 26 shipped. The lowering kit should be here tomorrow but no word on the keys yet. This is how it sits now. I'll post an after shot in a week or so.

    LOL OP, I've already got the wheel removed. That's the easy part and all you have to do is pimp slap the wheel and it comes right off. Removed six of them this weekend.

    I should've snatched about 20 of those blanks today at the junkyard lol. I'd sell just one or two but I don't know how much cheaper these would be after shipping. Shipping would be around 3-4 dollars. Not sure what the blanks are worth alone.

    I bought a specific tool for the lock plate that threads onto the shaft but the brackets are too wide to grab to get access to the C clamp. The steering wheel pullers I've seen don't thread onto the center shaft.

    the steering column lock plate? I'm swapping out my 2002 steering wheel and installing an 04 wheel. I removed the steering column from the 04 (thought this was supposed to be the hard part). Found the correct air bag etc... I picked this up at a u-pull-it so someone had their way with the lock...

    Yep, I've read the 03 controls won't work. Everything I found is that you have to rig up the factory AC control to line up with the new trim.
