Because they want you go buy what's there. Most imports in the states don't even do orders..i wouldn't be surprised if you see orders vanish unless it's for special models and vehicles.
Thats crazy because their US sales isn't close to what GM does in US alone.

Bmw doesnt sell nearly the volume GM does.
And if you go to multiple dealers and place multiple orders and bounce around you are not exactly helping matters.
Not gm just crappy dealers. Consensus is if your dealer is honest and up front you will know what's what. If they are not everything is blamed on gm and you have no real time-line.
Mine isn't an ultimate. The dealer portal has the current event code. With that said the advisor doesn't always give it either but has been ever since we hit 3000.
My order is a at4 xl duramax with the 8passenger off road capability pack
Hey they said the other country would pay for it! No fair!
Hahaha we deserve the price hikes.
With that said it will be interesting as the car markets price it in.
Demand will fall so they will have to cut their profits. But with all the job loss and recession I feel like many manufacturers...
The diesels started getting produced beginning of March. I highly doubt they ship to Canada in any large number until they blast them out to the states first. With the tariffs it won't be cheap wither way sorry to say. Just have patience but tbh idk that it would be worth a 25% to 50% additional...
You may be on to something. It sucks because I've ordered plenty and it's a great way of staying in the know without bothering the dealer. Although I see and get delivery of every order I have placed im sure what you are saying is spot on. The dealer doesn't want their typical customer to know...
As of today we are at event code 3000.
What sucks is historically I've always used the gm chat advisor for updates. While they can tell you some info they refuse to give out event codes. They tell you to ask your dealer.
Idk why or what's changed but these advisors thru gm chat have been...
What sucks is the gm chat advisors have not been giving out event codes. Ours is accepted and at 3000 per our dealer. Sucks that the chat feature is useless now
This sucks to here but most times then not problems arise right when the car is new. Hence the warranty. Your more likely to have issues in the beginning then the end with typical manufacturing these days.
If a shop is diagnosing things before they pull it into the shop based on previous assumptions run far far away from that place.
That's not how you diagnose anything
