Needing Help! Considering a 5.3 to 8.1L CI Vortec 8100 L18 swap for a 2007 Yukon XL 1500 SLT
Hi Everyone, I'm currently considering swapping out my 5.3L V8 which has an ever-existing oil leak off the back of it to either a 6.2 Vortec or even possibly a bigger engine like the L18 8.1 Vortec engine. AC blows hot
Need help getting AC COLDER. 2007 Tahoe 5.3l, 140k. AC blows 75-80deg F and 60-65deg F on recirc. Brand new Denso OEM compressor, low PSI 45-50/ high psi 225-250, installed cabin air filter kit. Fuel pressures

Vibrating/Grinding Noise from top of engine
I have an 07 Tahoe 5.3L V8, and about a month ago I started noticing a quiet noise when slowing down to a stop, when the engine returned to idle, for a brief second it sounded as though maybe a pulley was bad or AC clutch not disengaging all the way.
