I think it might have something to do with the springs. Maybe too soft.

Yup that's why they say if you replace your self levelers with anything else you have to replace springs aswell

Yeah, I've read that after replacing my supposedly compatible kyb shocks.

Longtubes came in this afternoon. I managed to get everything but the passenger manifold off the truck in about two hours before I called it a night. Test fitted driver side, only issue was the littl aluminum skirt that hangs off the motor mount more than it should imho. Trimmed it off and it fit like a glove. I'm fully expecting the passenger side to be a ***** and to end up having to do motor &a trans mounts. Just how my luck is when I work on stuff, but we will see how it goes. Fingers crossed

I'll do my best to update as i go. Gonna stop by the parts store and get plugs & wires tomorrow before I get home. If all goes well I'm gonna do my best to get this thing done late tomorrow night. Hopefully my tuner is home this weekend so we can do some tweaking with the tune.

I had to go with racing plug wires, headers burned a few boots on the stockish wires. Boots we're too long.

Do you have a p/n for those wires, there website says none fit.
