I have an 01 Tahoe with a bad front end noise.
It gets louder with higher speed. And almost quiet in left turns. I tought it was the left hub, so I changed it. But the noise is still there.
It is the same in 2wd and 4wd.

Any suggestions to what it could be?

Filmed with cell phone, so the sound is not so good :)

I`m not sure what that could be but from being a member here i`ve read that the front differentials in our trucks have problems with i believe the carrier bearings and they can get pretty noisy.

Have you checked your CV boots and your axles?

Thanks for feedback. Odd it gets better on left turns you'd think the opposite. I couldn't really hear anything on the video...was it the humming sound in the background? I can't tell if its my tinnitus or the sound you are trying to point out.
