Hi all.
I hate making an issue my first item of business on the forum but I really hope someone can help.
Just had a shop replace the knock sensors on my 01 XL (6 liter) and it has been good since. Had to put the truck in 4WD low today and now it won't shift out of it. The light on any of the other buttons (High 4WD, 2WD, Auto) will flash for about 30 seconds then go back to low 4. So far all I have done is to reseat the fuse and go back and forward on the driveway a bunch of times.
Years ago I had a Subaru XT that was worked on and they managed to leave the vacuum hose off of the drive selector. I really hope that I am in the same boat. Can't even drive this back to the mechanic without wrecking the tranny I believe.
So I hope someone can get me started in the right direction. If there is a manual method to get it into 2WD I am willing to try it. I have ramps but no jack other than the GM tire changer for getting under the truck.

By the way, need to use the beast to take a travel trailer for our last trip of the season and my FIL's 77th birthday this weekend, so really hope someone has good news for me!
