would like to see if yall know about the 8 inch stock sub in my truck?? Can i change to a better one and run my amp to it? And can i put the new one were the old one was....thanx for the help

Yes. But watch the depth. A kicker comp VR fits perfect in there. So does a Memphis 8 inch woofer. Most other brands are just a tad too deep to mount in there.

or check the Kicker CVT, slim mount woofer, will fit right in there.
