Not sure how the resistor is looking, but everything is working fine. But not good news, water is STILL finding its way inside the stupid thing, so this is not totally solved today. Antenna seal has RTV all over it, put the permatex on top of the windshield, and it's not getting all over the dash and everything anymore. Cowl panel looked fine but I still put RTV around the sides to be extra sure, and I put RTV around the door boot seal to be sure. I have no idea where this water is coming from. It is coming from higher up and dripping down onto the floor and all over the wiring for the door.

What haven't I checked? No sunroof or anything on this one. AC doesn't work so I dont think the drain would be a problem.

Heres a video.

Thanks! Where were you able to get the foam for the seals? And to clarify, there’s a foam seal under the plastic cover for the fresh air intake(I already put a lot of sealant around the perimeter of that) a foam seal in the center of the cowl area(that needs replaced on mine it’s almost completely gone) and one around the screen cover going to the blower motor on the fresh air intake?

You think the bad center cowl foam seal could be causing a leak?

What’s weird is that the foam below the windshield in the dash area is still wet and that’s above the cowl. I’m not sure if it’s still wet from before I supposedly sealed the windshield or if the windshield is still leaking. Its annoying that’s for sure!

I used fresh silicone sealant around the screen cover seal area. That is where the water was coming in at the blower/resistor. As you can see I removed the upper cover, cleaned and resealed with the same silicone sealer. I just went to the auto parts store for a roll of tape seal for the other hole. I have looked at this same Tahoe 2 times since then, it was here for other work and we get plenty of rain here in the PNW and the Tahoe sits outside. I easily removed the resistor and it was dry and so was where it lives.

Thank you! Not sure if my leak is the same as yours though. Took a hose today and sprayed the whole cowl area with water, not a drop of water. Sprayed all around the windshield, and thats where I saw a drop of water streaming down on the side by the foam I showed in the video. I'm sure that'd get into the blower motor! I think I find myself and needing a windshield again.

Heres the pic to where Im talking about, right where my hands going:

I have read all of this and several posts back, your testing and results made me think the w/s reseal/replacement is needed. If you have comprehensive coverage, crack it and send in to insurance. I would get any seals that are with it, on each side or above, and have them done at the same time. Do not count on the seals being part of the w/s install.

I agree, probably windshield. You think that's a good idea to crack the windshield? I do have comprehensive coverage, but with all the sealant I've put all over it and the water don't you think an appraiser would notice that?
