I recently picked up a 2002 Tahoe and this is the only flaw I found as of right now but its a concerning flaw to me. It is the first rain I have had the Tahoe and I noticed on the drivers side I have some water dripping into my cabin and theres a little wet spot by the door sill. I attatched a couple pictures of where I saw it coming from. My door seals aren't cracked and look brand new so its not coming from there, I don't think. The only thing I noticed was the part of the cowl that meets the windshield (the thing that almost looks like a wiper blade) is not sitting flush with the windshield on the driver side, it is sitting flush on the passenger side. Any Help is appreciated, I dont want this to somehow fry out any electrical components or the rusting process from the inside out.

You can barely tell but I circled where I thought I saw the water coming from.

It drips all the way down the dash and then rolls off by the ebrake and on the door sill

Has the windshield been replaced? If its a cheap Chinese that could be the problem! My wife's 2002 had that issue. I know you said the door seals look brand new but make sure they are secure all the way around.

I don't know about the windshield being replaced, I bought the Tahoe this past saturday. I called the salesman who helped me and he is going to talk to his techs tomorrow and figure out whats going on.

I have done a few searches and some people have had cowl screw issues or sealing issues at the factory seam by the fire wall, and with those it is water pooling in the middle of the floorboard. This seems a little different to me but who knows. I just want to get it figured out so it doesnt ruin any electronics or anything.

Did you ever find the source of the leak?
