Checked everything at work today and everything is tight. Ball joints, tie rods, wheel bearings all ok. But I can still stand on the running boards and rock it from side to side and you can hear a squeaking type noise. Any ideas?

Today I pulled the 1 inch spacer out of the back of the 2002 Tahoe hoping I would get a 1 inch drop but that didn't happen with the Nivomat shocks. It dropped it an in inch in the shop but after I drove it home it was back up an inch where it was before I pulled the spacer out. I have already tried running the Belltech shocks and it dropped it way too much with the spacer in there. Anyway I could possibly run some type of Monroe shock and put the 1 inch spacer back in and get the drop I desire? I am 33.5 in front and 35.5 in rear with Nivomat shocks and the 4 inch rear Belltech springs.

I have the 5305 plus 1 springs. You need to get rid of those shocks you have.

5305 plus 1 then if needed you can use the spacers. I also cut the 1 ich spacers to .5 tall

I have already tried the Belltech shocks with a 1 inch spring and I was at 34 inches in the rear and I DID NOT like the look of that or the ride in the rear.

do you understand at 34 inches free travel mod is necessary along with the endlinks and new bumpstops on axle? no travel so will not ride well and swaybar angle points down to ground another reason not a good ride

I don't want to be at 34. I'm trying to be at 34.5 and I don't need all that modding at 34.5. I think I got it figured out how to get to 34.5. The Belltech shocks and a 1 inch spacer with 2 of the rubber insulators that come with it from the factory and that should get me at 34.5. 2 rubber insulators are .5 of an inch. Put the 1 inch spacer on 2 of those and your at 1.5.
