Welcome to the forum Sassy49ergirl85. I also have a 2002 GMC Yukon SLT. Mine had way more miles than that. That is a good find getting one with such low miles. I would start with a cold air intake. Preferably a Volant. It is one of the more expensive ones, but I have heard its one of the best too. Looking forward to seeing what all you do to your Yukon.
Air raid jr and a drop in filter is the best bang for the buck. Dyno proven. Then if you have a tuner in your area. That would be a start. Not sure of you budget or how far you want to go with it. Cat back exhaust is mainly for noise purposes.
Wow! Thank you all so much for the advice. I will look into cold air intake and unfortunately I might have to shop around to find a good tuner in my area. Time to do some research!!
BlackBear did dyno test quite a few years ago for cai. The one that stood out and most people go for is the Spectre. It is the same price as the Air raid Jr. I changed out the filter for a K&N. I have a BB tune. It is a night and day difference. Since I did the tune I went ahead and did the e-fan conversion. And to get a little bit of sound I put on a cat back Dynomax exhaust on.
Over all it has great performance but now I want to do a cam but there are a few maintenance items I need to take care of.
