I had an airbag service light in my 02 Denali and when I scanned the code it said it was the driver's side airbag circuit. According to anything I found online that was either the driver's airbag or clockspring was bad. I tested the clockspring for continuity and found when rotated it lost contact. The airbag tested out okay with a few ohms of resistance.
Anyway, I decided to order the clockspring and after getting it back together the light is still on. I was under the impression the light should turn off once the problem is fixed but I tried to reconnect the scanner to see if I could reset the code. When I tried to connect the scanner to potentially reset the light, it wouldn't connect after trying for 5 mins. I have tried several times and the light hasn't gone off on its own. I am kinda at a loss right now. Any ideas?
