02 Z71 Update

No screen on my 06.

I guess where my real question lies then is, if I get the sensor off and there is no screen in there to dig out... Am I just stuck with this subpar oil pressure? Especially if changing the sending unit didn't change the pressure reading on the dash before?

you can rent a oil pressure tester, its hose screws into the sensor location, then you got a real reading of the o/p.
