The engine and trans contain part of the VIN and I heard that it might on the rear of the frame but have never seen noticed it there.

Old school sbc did but ive been all over an LS engine and there isn't a serial that partial matches vin itd be nice if they did cause it'd make life a little easier when you go look at a row of ls engines thats been pulled out and you wanna make sure you get a 5.3 instead of 4.8 especially if your paying for a 5.3 lol and trans is a little better

The swap has begun. Going to try get flywheel and rear main seal this week but did get the shifter boot in thought it was gonna take me a lot longer then it did.

I did get a during and after pic. So like usual I get started and forget pics

I had posted about headers but I ended up finding bad reviews so I just deleted it post

Everything is in for the swap except my regulation size 8 ball for the shifter knob so pics should be soon of swap and MAYBE a video rolling through the gears

Best way to break in the clutch is dump it a few times at 6k
