Lol lets see I have a tuned5.3 in a slightly heavy burban getting a nv3500. Now ive seen those trans take a good amount of abuse but idk about the 6k dump lol

In my experience, it will do one of 3 things.

1) Burnout! :peace:

2) Bog and stall

3) Something breaks my bet is U joint or 10bolt

But I totally understand not wanting to dump it I've been nice to mine lately as well.

Made some progress today

Started with putting nut rivets in the bracket under the dash instead of making a nut plate then getting it to stay in place. So nut rivets it is.
Also have a hydraulic hole press, used that instead of a hole saw

First pic can see the press head on firewall with cutting head on outside. Didnt get underhood pic of that

Here you can see hole punched and nut rivets in brackets

Brake pedal cut down, clutch pedal installed and master cylinder without rod until I can get trans in

Start to finish 1hr 40 mins wasn't bad at all would been quicker if I gave up on trying keep adjustable pedals operational

Forgot something.
Few days ago the rear HVAC control in overhead decided to fall out and dangle so since it dont light up any more, is brittle and really not worth fixing.

Just ordered a new one instead

So now I guess would be a good time to add on led conversion considering only one button lights up between headlight, fog light switch, and front HVAC lol

Thats the only ones everything else works kinda odd to me usually the clusters go first
