I recently purchased a 03 DMS Denali (AWD) that has been lowered 3" I believe with an Eibach kit. I would like to replace with regular shocks . Right now both rear shocks are blown, compressor not working. Problem I'm having is locating shocks that will work with the 3" lowered and not change the height. Strutmasters says they have a shock kit that will work but will bring the Denali back to its original height. I don't know how as it has a lowering kit with coil springs. None the less i want to keep it lowered, corners way better. This rig has 8 piston Brembo front brakes, supercharged, headers, stainless exhaust etc. Unfortunately the previous owner had no pride in keeping the vehicle up. I have replaced the front brembo rotors, rebuilt the supercharger and am moving to the suspension now. Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks Rick

Check with the vendors here. I'm sure any of them that deal in lowering kits can get you hydraulic or nitro shocks for way cheaper than air-ride. The air-ride is about $1K in parts for 2 shocks and a compressor.

If you disconnect your battery and pull the air ride fuse (RDS on the underhood fusebox IIRC) when you re-connect your battery the "service autoride" message will no longer display.
