no. completely different plus, electronic signals, etc.

Yeah the 00-02 are a bit different than the 03 and up..
Here is one on ebay that will fit..

Actually, 99-01 Escalades are still the OBS. You need one from a 2002 Escalade to fit into a 00-02 Tahoe, Yukon, or Burban.
