What's the best solution used to put fog Light lens back onto the housing.

buy new ones. Get a pair of TYC's brand new from eBay.

Mine are pretty good just have to seal them back up.

They will never seal right. People have tried and the heat will undo it. Or they try and get gunk all over the outer edges.

i sealed mine, they have been like this for years now

Ok guys I got them sealed up with goop and it looks good. But the next question is about the metal detector in front of the bulb that's in the way of the hids I'm installing. Have anyone removed that piece to make the lights brighter?

That's there for a reason. That housing was built to project the light in a certain way. If you remove that, it messes up the pattern of light. However, since your putting an hid in there anyways, your messing up the pattern so bad anyways it probably won't matter.
