Has anyone built a solution to be able to easily/quickly remove the second row captain/bucket seats? I have not poked around in there much yet so I'm not even sure how hard they are to pull out in stock form.

I am looking to be able to easily convert the entire cargo area to a camping/utility space and I'd like as large a flat floor as possible so I'd also build a "filler" to take the place of the 2nd row seats...

I don't want to reinvent the wheel - so to speak - if it has been documented somewhere.

My Yukon has a bench seat
I removed it last summer to do an OCD carpet cleaning
Likely the bolt holes are in same locations for your buckets
FYI there is a stud or two welded to floor (seat hold down) you can use can use bolt your "box" down to my buddy jacked up his knee of one of these when putting bench back in :chair:
I have not seen a built floor seat delete your thinking of
seen fabricated sub-woofer underseat box that if the seat wasn't there would yield a flat floor with the rear take a look at this http://youtu.be/SVrOp9KudZo
The fabrication is pretty much top shelf you can modify design to suit you storage needs.
I've seen rear storage boxes for gear but I get what you're going for
Simply get your tools and do it
Nothing special has been documented as how to or otherwise continue search

Well all of the 2nd rows bolt it... so your gonna have to remove all of the bolts in order to remove it...

I have a bench seat, so mine folds to a completely flat area. Even with the rear cargo floor.

Do your current buckets not fold flat like that?

I'd prefer a bench! My buckets fold MOSTLY flat... but they leave the empty space in between.

When I had captains chairs I would just throw a piece of plywood over them to bridge the gap. Could never even tell it was there under the air mattress.
