Sorry for the delay - Metra PN: 99-2003
Only thing I used was the brackets screwed to the sides of the HU

Except....
My 7015 is going to be shipped to the Kenwood National Service Center in New Jersey tomorrow.
Hooked up an older Kenwood single DIN unit and got none of the noise I was getting from the 7015.

This means that for the time being I had to install a single din in a double DIN hole with a cheesy dash kit.

Everything is done though.
Even got the warning chime to work.
Found where the factory speaker wires go to the drivers side door and tapped them then hooked it to a factory speaker I had under the dash.
Its a little quiet but it works!!!
Piss on the 130$ harness that never seems to work right.
Local audio store even went so far as to tell me I would have 'electrical gremlins' if I didn't use a harness.

I know this is old, but I'm trying to get a pioneer appradio in my 2003 Yukon. The unit is giving me fits because it's too long for the hole. Crutchfield states I need to cut the metal bracket out of the back of the dash to make room for the new stereo. Did you run into this and if so how'd you do it? I'm wondering how much a dealer will charge to make this mod.

No way a dealer will do this for you.
I didn't have to cut any metal, only the hard plastic and I had to cut a lot of it.
I used a hacksaw blade in my hand to cut as much as I could. Along the bottom edge the whole width of the HU I had to take out about 1/2 inch of plastic.
It was tight and took some time but eventually I got enough cut out for the HU to fit.
I had to make sure all the wiring and plugins weren't bunched up in the way but definitely didn't have to cut any metal.

Well it's not a dealer but an audio shop so I'm wondering. One guy somewhere said he just drilled out the two rivets and removed the two remaining screws. What say you?
