Still new to the forum. I have an 03 yukon with the ugly gray leather. I am interested in swapping out the seats. I love the look of the seats in the h3 and newer h2.

Does anyone know if this is possible at all? if so I am going to try to find a set of seats at a salvage yard or something.

Why not just recover your existing seats? My theory is anything will fit into any vehicle (for the most part) it's just a matter of how much work do you wanna get into because most likely it's not going to just "bolt in". I installed NBS seats out of an 02 Silverado into my 77 and that was a LOT of work. Was it well worth it in the end? Absolutely!!! But between all the fabbing that had to take place with the floor to get them to fit along with relocating the gas tank it was an all winter project.

Any...just my .02 cents from a newbie to the forum! :D

I am looking at katzkin covers as well, just trying to find out if the seats would bolt right in. Because if they do, then it might be cheaper to replace the whole seat from a salvaged truck.

I'm going to say there's very little chance that they'll bolt right in. Katzkin may be your best option :)

Both the h2 and h3 im pretty sure have completely different platforms and will not be direct bolt in. However they can be modded but like 07burb said it will take alot of fabrication to massage it in right. My theory is for the amount you would spend on a salvaged set it would be cheaper to take yours into an upholstry shop and have the customize some for you. Trust me new custom (stock) leather seats any color, pattern or stitching you want them will look and feel way better then hummer seating

x2! Those H2 and H3 really aren't the comfortable IMO.

thanks for the advice. Im gonna go with katzkin and do new carpet and headliner. Black leather seats with black suede insert. Suede headliner and paint all the plastic pieces in the car a flat or satin black with a few gloss accent pieces. Just gotta get some funding for the project first.

I know for sure the H3 seats will not work. However, the H2 seats might work because the H2 is basically a 2500 Tahoe and uses many of the same or similar parts. The seat track shows to be the same part number for all the C/K trucks and the H2. The only problem I forsee is if your truck doesn't have the memory/heated seat package then the electronics may not work.
