Ok, getting warmer! Is your rewired radio on this circuit at all? We have heard of the VCIMs failing and causing a draw before.

So my radio, to my knowledge, does not interface with the info circuit.
I just had tested it when running: pulled the info fuse, and my radio remained on. When I pulled the radio fuse, it shut off my radio.

I did not see the amount of measured drain yet. Did I miss that?

The guy that tested it for me yesterday was saying the info circuit was showing a 600 mA drain. When he removed the fuse and put it back in, the drain did not return it seemed to be back in normal spec.

Thanks for digging that info up, a lot of good stuff there to dig into. I will have to test the relay for RAP.

When it comes to the RAP, in the past I consistently noticed the only issue was with my radio staying powered indefinitely. My power windows and door lights function as expected when the key is out, before the door is opened.

I found this on another forum, someone else with a hot radio issue. This is simple and I can definitely give it a try, as my tahoe has a viper alarm/remote starter:
QUOTE:
To make a long story short, I did find the culprit. It was the relay for my remote starter on the ACCY wire. It was sticking and leaving the ACCY circuit powered even though the IGN was off. I replaced the relay and all is fine now.

Yep, pattern failures like you found, can help in the search of pesky problems like this. IMO, you should do like I did and others here as well, join ALLDATAdiy.com for a year at a time and get the same diagnostic info for your rig, that shops all over the US of A use for problems like this. I have found the info invaluable. http://www.alldatadiy.com/

Thanks for the guidance here, I have a direction to go in now. I'll definitely post up any solutions I come across.
I may end up taking it in to a different electrical repair guy, as electrical is a big weakness for me.

My band aid right now is pulling the INFO fuse, to my knowledge it doesn't affect anything important from what I can tell.
I don't have onstar (very happy about that), and so far the only thing i've noticed is the rear dvd player not having power.
I am going to let this ride for a bit and say that future me needs to go back in and solve the hot radio accy wire and info circuit drain.
