I like it but it does remind me of gmc truck with a Denali grill but only bc your truck is black. Is the emblem black too? That I really like

This is mine. I have been trying to figure out a way to remove the chrome from the grill to get it painted black but haven’t been successfully. How did you do yours?

That's a sick ride. Exactly what I'm trying to do to mine. Used a full can of black Plastidip and Glossifier. If you want a really glossy look, you can put a layer of 2k automotive clear coat. However the dip will become much harder to peel

Decided to chrome delete the outer shell. I feel like the chrome center is a Denali trademark and decided against blacking that out. Opinions? New headlights would definitely be next.

That looks killer! I color matched my outer surround, and left the chrome honeycomb as well. I love the look! It’s so clean! The dark housing headlights will really set off the look for your truck! They can be had on eBay and Amazon. They also make what I have, clear lenses with a black housing. And I have no problem seeing at night.

Thanks! I have been looking to go a more permanent route for blacking mine out. I wanted to get it painted but the first rock that hits it will let the chrome show through. So I thought getting it wrapped would work, but they said they wouldn’t be able to do the middle because there wasn’t enough material to adhere to I guess. I have an extra grill that i picked up and have been trying to remove the chrome from but the only way that I know of or have heard of is basically bleach and that has been a pain.

187D76BC-E078-49B9-B09F-F5C76A063368.jpeg There’s no way to remove the chrome because the grill is plastic. I researched it and tried everything. I had a friend who owns a body shop sand the hell out of a new aftermarket one and paint it. It’s been about 3 years and it has a few rock chips but no chrome showing through them. Yours would look better painted to match @denali5500 but I’d leave the center chrome like you did since your truck is dark.
Edit: I have black headlights with smoke lenses and make up for that by running 55watt HID’s in the low beams and HIR in the high beams. Night vision is excellent.
