I only think speed sensor because with TC off, it doesn't matter if one tire is slipping/spinning or not, because TC is off. well if it's a bad speed sensor, it could make it "think" one wheel is slipping/spinning and activating TC

Makes sense, like I said it's worth looking into, but I would think it would do it randomly not only upon takeoff. That's why I thought maybe the pedal sensor was sending wrong info.

could be. OP really needs to take it somewhere with a Tech2 or something that can hook up live and tell him why it's happening. Only 100% way to tell

Welcome, that's what we are here for man. Ya fix the little things before they cause bigger issues or sitting beside the road. I don't have mine anymore but even with all the little issues they have I miss it everyday.

My 04 Escalade was doing the same thing, mine ended up being a wheel speed sensor. Its pretty much a guessing game on which one being mine wasn't throwing any code. I replaced both fronts (Don't remember if the rears have wheel speed sensors) and it solved my problem. A shop with a good scanner should be able to pinpoint which sensor is causing the issue. It could also be an issue with the wiring harness to one of the sensors as well since you said replacing one didn't help, a wire could have gotten pinched somewhere down the line. I'd definatley have a tech hook it up to a scanner and do a little live monitoring, they should be able to track it down pretty quick.
