JUMP TO NEXT PARAGRAPH FOR ACTUAL PROBLEM NOT JUST RANT. I love my burban I really do more then anything other car I've ever seen I think she's beautiful and wonderful. However I hate gm. I mean who the hell thinks it's a good idea to put an amp (Bose factory amp) under cupholders that aren't sealed to be waterproof or anything in a car marketed to a family because it can fit lots of kids and such.
I had a large spill of coke in my cup holders that I wasn't present for. when I came back to the car and cleaned it up I started heading home and when I turned left on all the turns it stopped sound on my trucks right side and turning to the right fixed the problem tell the next left turn. It was late so I didn't pull it apart tell the next day but I pulled my front door apart and the speaker wire seemed loose they are after market along with the radio but both are hooked to factory Bose amp. I hooked it back in and I haven't had that problem again but I do have A popping sound when ever a song isn't playing or is playing at a very low volume but stops when it's a bit louder all the way up to the loudest it gets I also have a bit louder pop whenever the stereo shuts down the speakers have been looked at and are under warranty so replaced them it still happens. I was told it could be the amp or interface used to hook in to the amp. I guess my question is has anyone encountered a similar situation and what should I check first
