04 Tahoe 3rd Row Seat

Hi All,
Just bough an '04 Tahoe Z71. This came without a 3rd row seat. I have found someone selling a 3rd row seat from an '02 Tahoe. Will the seat from '02 fit the '04? If it matters, the used seat is the 50/50 split, not the bench,

Does your '04 have the floor brackets that the seats latch into?

They should work as long as you have the lower brackets for them, if not you have have to get the brackets, put a few holes in the carpet and your all set. Best place to get the brackets is a junk yard.

Not yet, but I bought a used set for the conversion. Found instructions on line

The 3rd row seats in my '04 are two individual seats, each the same width.

Trying this conversion today. Bought a bolt and bracket kit from ebay, specd for my year range, but the bolts are too big... found this youtube that indicates someone else had the same issue:

Does anyone know if GM varied bolt sizes by model or year intentionally?

Note: youtuve vid is for different model year range than my ‘04, but same issue.
