Needing some guidance before I start tearing into this Tahoe. Just replaced head units with an aftermarket Sony touch screen. Hoping that it was the factory head unit that was the issue as to why I only have sound out of 2 speakers. It’s a basic 04 LS, it sounds like I am only getting sound from the very back(assuming it might have a factory sub?) and the right rear passenger door. I ordered new speakers for the doors yesterday, and don’t want to install and have to dig more if they don’t work. I have a center jump seat in the front, no console, so there isn’t a factory amp there. If I do have the factory sub, is it easy to wire in an aftermarket amp? I am just looking for advice from anyone who has dealt with this issue. As I tear into it a little more, I will get pics to post to the thread if I run into problems.

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

Lots of knowledgeable folks here who freely share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. Knowledge is power.

I hope that you will become a participating member in the Forum's discussions.

Pics of the truck, please.

My first question is to understand better what you've done so far. Did you use an interface module between your truck's connector pigtail, and if so what brand and model number did you use?
