Any luck on a replacement yet? I went through two bad VCIM before finding a 2011 Esky 2g unit that worked with the phone app for remote start, until they shut the network down.
In the end it’s all worth it. The VCIM has hey Siri built in so you can either say it or push the SW button to control your phone.
It’s especially handy for sending & reading texts out loud and initiating calls by name.
