05 denali remove front driveshaft

Hi all,
Been lurking for a bit.

Have an 05 denali Ive owned for a few years and is currently my wifes dd. Shes going back to work and and now it will be my toy to play with. What does the drivetrain do when you remove the front driveshaft on these rigs? Everything go haywire?

Reason I ask is there will be multiple power adders going into this rig and not to sure about the reliability of the tcase and front axle with 500hp. I expect a 4l80 and rearend will be in my future.

You cannot pull the front shaft on a 05 because it is a open differential T-case, will just sit and spin
Think of it as a open diff rear axle and jacking up one wheel
You can swap out the t-case for a manual shift with a little modifications for the shift lever and front shaft change
