05 Yukon Denali w/ DVD player engine noise and crackle issue HELP

I have been trying to figure out what is wrong with my DVD system... Whenever I play a movie you are able to hear the engine noise and a really bad crackling sound coming out through all the speakers which overcomes the audio. I am having to crank up the volume to even hear the movie and whenever I turn off the vehicle and turn it back on the stereo ends up turning on by default on full blast. I took it to a local audio shop and they had told me it is the stock Nav/Radio is bad and the whole console needs to be replaced. Would anyone be able to tell me whether or not this is truth or if anyone has a fix for this problem? PLEASE

is your DVD system aftermarket? typically engine noise comes from a bad ground or running the wiring too close to ignition systems
