05 Yukon Roof Racks

Hey guys, new here. Have an 05 Yukon SLT and I took the running boards off yesterday and really like the new look. I'm wondering if anyone has taken their roof racks off and what your thought is about how it looks and what you did to plug the holes from the bolts. I figured some silicone but I'd imagine that will make it tough to put back on if I ever want to. Thanks guys

Quite a few of us have taken our racks off. Much cleaner looking Imo. I just put the stock bolts back into the holes.

Another popular mod is to put the Escalade roof rack on there, it's much more low profile

When you get the roof rack off I would be curious to see pictures with it gone and the running boards gone. I have considered doing that to mine as well.

That looks a lot better. Smooth and clean. Did you tint your headlights or buy them like that?

eBay special haha, 100 bucks. I love the look of the lights, some people don't. I recommend them because it has definitely made a difference with night driving and makes it stand out a bit, too many of these around to keep it boring!

Oh ok. Thank you. I agree there are way too many of them out there and got to make them stand out somehow.
