06 Denali New Owner

Hi Folks, new 06 Denali owner here in Connecticut. Will be doing mods so keep an eye out. It will be hauling a Z06 to Slipstream events. 119k body is a bit rough, interior perfect and rear at was replaced before I bought it for 7500. Friend of the family wanted it gone. How do these tow? I used to have a 99 Sierra with 35's and she pulled the trailer well with the 5.3.



She will be hauling this...

They tow good. I didn't notice much difference from my truck to the taho. Taho seems more stable. Looks like you got the XL so longer wheel base will be even better. And you already got the power but a mild tune goes a long way. With what ever mods you are planning to do. Looks good in the pics.

I have an 03 denali that I tow my cars around with and it does great. Put probably 10k miles on it last year towing.

Looks good friend! My truck is exactly the same year and wheel base! My rig tows fantastic! I tow a 6000lb boat for a family friend and it handles great! Like @#1taho said the XL model handles awesome!

Tow with mine a few times a year. The 6.0 is a little corked down from the factory but does pretty good. Yours probably has efans already, but i recommend a good tune, cold air intake, and muffler/exhaust to help free up some cheap power. Headers really wake up the midrange for pulling but I understand not wanting to dive that far in. Enjoy.

For the last week I have been lugging 8,000lbs around the south west with my 06 Denali xl... I have modded it a little to take the weight better and iy tows like a dream. It tows better than my 06 2500 with a 6.0l.
