06 Tahoe 2wd lift Fitment

I have a 200 Tahoe rwd and was looking for lifts one of my buddies told me any chevy lift from the 2006 aslong as it was a 2wd lift would fit on my car as my 06 does not have any options i want either to much or to little but i noticed that other Silverado 1500 2wd and other ones ha many more options unlike mine was wondering if this would work for me

Welcome to the forum from Virginia. While the truck and Tahoe seem similar there are differences. Your buddy is right but let’s get some answers from others here that have experience with both.

Everything off a 4wd Silverado will fit your 2wd
So crossmembers will work
Upper control arms would works
Only difference is you might have coil springs up front vs torsion keys so you would use a lift spring for your lift
Or you could run lifted steering knuckles

My buddy’s Silverado was a unicorn 2wd that had the torsion keys and regular shocks up front
We used 3” keys turned down and 3” lift spindles and got her around 4-5” of lift with good angles
