My rear door latch no longer locks, I've been told it's a faulty solenoid. Replacement cost about $325, is this a fairly common problem?

The solenoid that locks/unlocks the door, correct? If so, it can also be known as an actuator. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. Check the link I posted.

Talking about reardoors... Need some help on finding the correct english part name.
I need those two rods which helps push and hold the door open. The ones I have are pretty week and will not push the door all the way up.
