ZW7 indicates a variation of the "Premium Smooth Ride" suspension. On the GMT800 chassis the "G65" RPO indicates the Nivomat shocks in the rear (and likely a front shock that is different from the Z71 or standard suspension). The rear springs are also softer. Take both RPO codes into consideration.

Those pics do look like the OE Nivomats. You can replace them with like shocks (manual, self adjusting Nivomats - $$) or convert to conventional shocks if you replace the coil springs with standard or Z71 springs.

Ok...i loaded the rear axle with over 300 lbs of weight. Took measurements at my hitch before and after. 13" before and 11.75" loaded. Drove it a couple miles and took another measurement. Still 11.75". Drove it another 3 or 4 miles. Measurement wasnow back to unloaded measurement of 13". Maybe nivomats are ok? Maybe my bounce is front shocks? Its worse when i have my camper attached going down bouncy road.

Yes, I do. Stay away from the Excel-G bottom of the line version. I have Gas-A-Just front shocks for my ZW7 4wd suspension, and they ride the same as OE in mine.

Use the KYB catalog for fitment and part numbers: https://www.kyb.com/catalog/
