Newbie from SC here...

I have a 2006 2WD SLT Yukon with the 5.3 engine, 3.73 gears and about 156K miles on it. I've had it since new as a company vehicle, but just got a new one and this one is now a personal one (dealer wouldn't give fair value on trade... I know, surprising).

All that said, I never had the 100K service done as I have had zero issues with the truck and almost all of the miles are highway. Besides being on the third set of treads, routine oil/filter changes and air filters, I haven't done squat to it. Not even new brakes (still plenty of life in the pads).

I feel like I should have some maintenance done to ensure another 150K+ out of it :), so I want some recommendations on what needs to be done. I am planning on new plugs and a transmission service, anything else I should have done? Change gear oil? Flush cooling system (no that I say that, I might have done that at 60K as the dealer serviced it up until around 90K and they lost the GMC side and the other nearest dealer was too far, plus no more warranty concerns)?

Go all synthetic (including gear oil) if you haven't already, best thing you can do for fuel economy and engine life.

Other members know way more than I do about maintenance, but I'll just name what I can think of.

*Clean throttle body
*Clean MAF
*Clean the car? lol

Also spark plugs and wires and maybe a seafoam or fuel system cleaner
