07-13 Pillar Bose Speakers and Covers

Hello all! Lately I've been wondering if my A pillar covers on my 04 Yukon SLT with the Bose system (first photo) can be replaced with the A pillar covers from an 07-13 model (second photo). Those covers have a better looking speaker and a Bose logo so I thought it'd be cool to have them. From the photos I've found online it looks like the speakers have the same plugs. I just can't really tell if the covers will fit into place. Has anyone tried this before? Thanks for the help.

I'm pretty sure the curvature of them is off so no, they wouldn't

Well there isn't much behind my covers. Just a few wires. So if they're skinnier or something that shouldn't be a problem

Also, do you know if they made the newer ones in that dark gray color the same as the first photo?
