07+ 3rd cat removal

have a 5x11x28 magnaflow 3.5 inch in/out with resonator cut off and wanted a little more sound so cut off the 3rd cat and truck has the perfect sound now and also picked up a little power

I used a 12 inch piece of 3.5 pipe and welded it up

BTW, there is nothing to worry about if anyone is worried about drone by doing this...GM has trucks out there with no cat from the factory.

I thought mine had a 3rd cat and it didnt...

good question is....

are the 2 catalytics on your y pipe the same size as the 3 catalytics found on newer trucks


maybe older versions use 2 large cats
and
newever trucks have 3 small cats

Not sure about the cat overall length on NORCALs truck...but the section he cut off seems about the same size...
