That's a great idea... I wonder how it would look on my vehicle since it's white...

I could have sworn I seen a picture of a white one with the black pieces. I almost think you posted the pic.

Imho, I think the black plastic d pillar doesn't look right on the yuks unless they are black ... even the denalis are like that for some reason, it throws the whole symmetry of the truck off. If I ever bough a yuk that wasn't black I'd have those colormatched before I ever left the dealer lot.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to do that in reverse and take a perfectly symmetrical vehicle and stick black trim back there ... but that's just me. Heck, my ocd would require me to have them colormatched even if the nali were black ... just so it's not two different black shades tween the metal and plastic. :)

I looked into this some more and passed on doing this mod. After looking at some Yukons in the same color or close to the same color it did look odd and did not like it.

Those are the pics I was talking about. Its a yukon but same concept from the back. By the way did you ever get a new yukon? Your old one looked so good.

It makes the tinted windows flow all the way around.

Yup, and obviously there are many folks who prefer that effect and and factor that in when they purchase a yuk instead of a hoe ... it's not a right and wrong thing, simply personal preference.

To my eyes it looks like they 'cheaped out' at the end and threw in a piece of plastic instead of the correct finish that's on both the hoe and the eskys. Plus, although it does give that tinted wraparound effect, this results in strange look from the side of an overhanging roof.

Like I said, different pillars for different wheelers. :)
