It was you, eagle eyes tail lights thread, page 4. I guess it was a yukon but would look the same. I think the guys name you showed pics if was iwaslowr.
Imho, I think the black plastic d pillar doesn't look right on the yuks unless they are black ... even the denalis are like that for some reason, it throws the whole symmetry of the truck off. If I ever bough a yuk that wasn't black I'd have those colormatched before I ever left the dealer lot.
I can't imagine why anyone would want to do that in reverse and take a perfectly symmetrical vehicle and stick black trim back there ... but that's just me. Heck, my ocd would require me to have them colormatched even if the nali were black ... just so it's not two different black shades tween the metal and plastic.
It makes the tinted windows flow all the way around.
