Installed a JL10w6v2 sub with a JL XD600/1 amp...

I don't go into much detail, but if you need a better explanation or pictures...just let me know.

Tapped into the signal going to the factory Bose sub...this is located right under the cup holders. I ran the speaker wire to a Stinger LOC that I mounted under the plastic cover under one of the second row seats. Found out later that my amp didn't need a LOC...

4 gauge power connected before the main fuse...

Brought the power cable through the passenger side floor

Got the 12v remote from the sixth pin (zip tie pointing to it) on the orange "block" this is located on the driver side above the parking brake...

Amp installed...this thing is tiny

Some pictures of the ported box...

Bass control knob...I had to jerry rig the knob, because it is such a tight fit between the cup holders and the storage box, but I made it work.

I'll have to address some dimming issues, and the speaker box carpet could have been matched a little better, but overall, I'm very happy with it :)

Looks good! Why'd you pick to put the knob there instead of by your right knee or in the ash tray?

Thanks! I picked that spot, because it's within easy reach, and if I ever want to return it to stock, I could just order a new cup holder insert. I thought about the ashtray, but I usually have my ipod in it. Also, I don't think I could have fit it in there anyways, because I needed about an inch of clearance on the back side of the knob.

It took you three years to find a 10" sub in your truck?

I think it sounds great. I used this stinger:

The retail on their site says $51.99, but you can find one for around $15.
